TimeSuite Module - Security


TimeSuite incorporates a complex security system which restricts the information that users are able to access.

The system determines who users are by requesting a login name and password OR can be configured to use Windows login information to allow access to the system.

TimeSuite - Add New User Form. Once logged in, further security is implemented by means of roles. Each role is allowed to access certain functions within TimeSuite. Users can only access these functions once they are assigned by a user administrator to the appropriate roles for their circumstance.

The user administrator maintains details of users and organisation details (these also form the address book or contacts system) plus the roles that each user is allowed. This is performed using a simple series of forms.

Once details of a user have been entered, they can be separately allowed access to the system via a wizard which allows the user administrator to create a login and then to define which roles the user should have access to.

Additional functionality can easily be added to the system depending on your organisations requirements using this security system to restrict access to the new modules.

This functionality offers significant cost savings when compared to implementing a completely separate system as all the security requirements have already been taken care of.
