TimeSuite Software and Hardware Requirements

TimeSuite is a web based application.

Users interact with the system via a web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozillas Firefox.

The system is run from one central computer (commonly called a server) which accepts requests from users, processes them and then sends the results back to the user.
This server is normally located on your premises, ensuring that you retain full control over it.

The data for the system is stored in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or can also be configured to use Oracle if required.

In order to install TimeSuite on your own premises, the only additional software required is Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and SQL Server 2000 or other choice of database.

Most organisations with a networked computer system will already have a server running IIS.

There is no need to install any additional software on users machines, provided they have a suitable web browser installed.

TimeSuite can also be hosted on our own secure servers. This option is suitable for smaller organisations as there is no need to purchase any additional server software.

We take care of all the hardware and software required to maintain TimeSuite so that you can concentrate on running your business.
